Hi there! I’m Julian.
I just recently moved from London after completing my first year of the MSc Double Degree in Global Media and Communications at the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE).
You may ask me then – what brings me to Los Angeles, California?
Aside from the endless amounts of sunshine the state has to offer, it is the very last stretch of my education road – I am officially graduating this summer from the University of Southern California (USC) with an MA degree in Global Communication.
I am pretty much a goofball and an adrenaline junkie myself, if it is not already obvious in my skydiving photo above and content throughout my blog posts.
Am ALWAYS ready to put myself out there and try something new.
Just ask my friends, they’re pretty accurate.
I am a big foodie (some may say, I’m quite the chef and should consider going into the restaurant business at some point in my life) and most importantly, loves EVERYTHING about fashion, celebrity and entertainment. Call me ‘fashion freakout’ especially during the awards season – The Oscars had me since the day I was born.
I grew up watching my Dad stay up late at night especially during the weekends, just to watch the Manchester United football games LIVE and his loud cheering, which I could clearly hear even though I was sound asleep, never fails to be one of the most unforgettable memories I have.
Sports is NOT just a ritual but something that my family bonds over – this is something that I have particularly come to realise after taking both the JOUR 571 and JOUR574 classes, taught by the one and only Alan Abrahamson at USC, whom I think is beyond fabulous. I just love him!
This blog “The Game Changer” is not out here just to entertain you. It is NOT a celebrity gossip magazine or in any way, fake news. I take my roles, as the owner of this blog and writer BEHIND every blog post, image, everything you basically see on here VERY seriously.
It’s about educating the public about this very subtle link between sports and celebrity culture – something that has always been there but not quite clear, which I find very important.
Sports and celebrity culture INTERLAP in more ways than you can ever imagine.
I am here to appeal to every person out there in the world who’s just like me or not – someone who’s very much multifaceted and has a diverse amount of interests.
Most importantly, that someone who has a curiosity that never stops them from learning more about what’s happening every single day and peeking into what’s new and what’s hot.
Enjoy The Game Changer!
